last year, i came across an awesome web tool (built on the ruby on rails framework) called 43things.
43things is a goal tracking system. a registered user can choose or come up with up to 43 goals to prioritize them, write about them, provide updates, delete them, give up on them, and change them. true to the web 2.0 spirit, she can also share them with other users, and can even cc her blog on the goals’ entry updates if desired. you can also connect with friends you know who use 43things, although there is a lot of anonymity at 43things, and users often times use pseudonyms so that they may be more open and honest about their dreams and progress reports.
