free book giveaway: the homeowner’s handbook (energy efficiency)

i am giving away a brand new advance reader’s paperback copy of The Homeowner’s Handbook: Energy Efficiency, a guide to big and small improvements.  i picked this up last weekend from a cart labeled ‘advance reader copies’ in a bookstore.  it says “advance reader’s edition” at the upper right hand corner of the cover.  i suspect that it is a draft before the final book published in September.

how to enter giveaway:

1. find any blog post here at this site that seems interesting, give it a read/scan it
2. leave a comment for that post (hopefully something meaningful)
3. make sure that your comment includes your legitimate e-mail address (and your website if available) in the comment form!  otherwise i can’t contact you if you win.

this giveaway will end saturday midnight, on 11/15!

any comment posted (that isn’t spam) from now until end of day 11/15 will be included.

i will use a random number generator to choose which commenter won the book!
i will contact the winner via e-mail and announce the result by monday 11/17 here.  i will send the book via media-mail (paid by me).

    Cool idea. I enjoy reading about how to make homes more energy efficient. I’ve always thought it would be cool to build a house from scratch so it would be just the way you want it. All the tract homes these days are very poorly built.
