i’m excited to announce a new personal finances blog carnival, the Carnival of Financial Resources!

i know that we already have a half dozen very active, great money-related blog carnivals out there, such as the Carnival of Debt Reduction. however, i wanted to initiate a carnival that had a slightly different focus — a focus on the world of the tools and resources that are available out there. i envision a handful of articles that will offer reviews of products, services or institutions, interviews of fellow active personal finance individuals in the community, and much much more!

i announced the debut of this new carnival this past week in various forums, including the MBN, GRS, WiseBread, and PFBuzz.

the first edition will be posted by end of day wednesday, October 15th, 2008 ! all submissions are due monday, the 13th by noon EST. i will be hosting here at fwp.
