blogging away my debt

debt, news

heh. it was amusing to me today that the same day i launch FWP i read one of jdroth’s older posts today at getrichslowly about individuals who have been blogging away their debts!

it was no surprise to see that nocreditneeded was referred to in the article, although now that i think about it, thesimpledollar was not? i was not familiar with the other bloggers that were mentioned in the article before today.

i had mixed reactions. in addition to amusement, i was dismayed. i’m hoping not only to also ‘blog away my debt’ and share my experiences with others, but also to potentially earn a bit of side income. it seems i have joined the bandwagon (so to speak) quite late. i’m quite optimistic about being able to blog away my debt, and i should be thrilled with that aspect. however, i wonder if i will make some progress towards my income goal with this trend already somewhat ‘mainstream’ ?

    Hey FWP

I found your blog from the Fire up the Grill blog carnival.

I don’t think you’ve gotten on the band wagon too late.

There are a few people who are doing what you’re doing already, but I think the number of people blogging away debt is still very small all in all. You’re one of the pioneers!

Would you like to join the Liberta Financial Freedom Support Network? It’s a network of people who are blogging for living debt free and financially free, to provide support, advice and encouragement to each other as they go along.

    Here’s the link: http://liberta.co.za/blog/liberta-financial-freedom-support-network/

    Take care & God bless,
